I have been so busy between school and getting three books ready for publishing. For those who may not know, my book Voyeur has been re-released by eXstacy Publishing on New Year’s Day. I am excited to see this book back out there as it was one of my favorites to write. I am hoping to get some new things out there in the new year, so time will tell what may come down the pipeline. 🙂
As you will notice, there are two more books that have been removed from the sidebar. Again, I will be polishing these up and submitting them to other publishers. 🙂
Once again, wish me luck!
My book Welcome Home came out on the 21st. I got so caught up in everyday life that I nearly forgot. I know, I know, what kind of author forgets something like that? Well, when you have a lot of heinous stuff going on, it’s easy to forget some things. 😉
I am currently working on another manuscript under a different pen name (different genre, different pen name). My muse is a wonderful guy and I am really enjoying where this one is going. I have no idea where exactly it will end, but I am anxious to find out.
I am also in the process of editing Voyeur. It’s due out March 9th and I have had a couple hiccups in the editing process, but I am hoping that everything will get back on track now.
I believe that’s all.
Since my last post here, Fractured Heart has been released and has been selling wonderfully. I appreciate all of you folks who bought copies for doing so and thank you from the bottom of my heart. I have recently received word that editing on my next release Voyeur will be starting soon. I am rather excited about that. I love the story of Voyeur more than anything else I have written…so far, and I am anxious for it to get out there in the world.
My release through Total-E-Bound, Welcome Home will be released on January 21st. I am looking forward to that and as always, I will be biting my nails praying people will like it. Keeping my fingers crossed for that one. 🙂
I made a resolution to get ten books written this year and I’m off to a good start. I have started something that was originally supposed to have been a one off, but some of the characters have been a little insistent, so it may turn in to a series. Here’s to hoping I can have storylines that keep me interested. If they don’t keep me interested, how is anyone else going to find interest in them, right?
I hope that everyone had a wonderful holiday, no matter what you celebrate and I send good wishes for the new year!
That being said… I finished the edits to my December release, Fractured Heart, and had planned to take some time out and not worry or focus on writing, but there happens to be a submission call that has piqued my interest. Submissions are due by Monday and while I am a little stressed that I might not make the deadline, I’m not really all that worried about it. The story, so far, is one that would do well as a stand alone if I don’t get it finished. I like where my characters are taking me and I am excited to see where it goes. I will be updating the progress page as soon as I actually have some information on where the story is going. Hey, I’m on a roll posting here. This is a good thing.
I am simply not around here enough am I? Truth be told, when I am writing and going about my life, I don’t tend to have too much to say. However, this is not one of those times.
Yesterday, I signed the contract for my fifth book entitled Voyeur. I am beyond thrilled and by far the most proud of this particular manuscript. There are a lot of editing days in my future. I have a book coming out December 16th, another on January 26th and then this lovely. Also, I began work on the series that has been bubbling away in my head. So, yeah, I will be very busy in the next few weeks/months and ya know what? I can not wait to start on everything.
Sidenote: Today is 10/11/12 make it count people!
Okay, that’s not exactly true. I finished the rough draft of Voyeur and now I am in the process of doing some edits before I send it out somewhere. I’m pretty pleased with how the story has turned out. It took a turn whic I hadn’t even thought of when I began writing it, but I went with it and it turned out really good. At the moment, I am one scene and another chapter away from it being completed and ready for me to go over it for the twentieth time. No, I am not exaggerating, I have read, re-read, and re-read it time and again to be sure everything makes sense and answers questions which may arise in the process of reading it.
I am hoping for some good news on the horizon regarding a couple of manuscripts I have out. One of them has been sent three times and I think I might have finally gotten the editing to where I want it. I am somewhat eager to begin working on a series I have had planned for a few months, but have waited to see how the first one would sell. Here’s to good vibes.
